Val Staples

Val Staples began as a colorist in 2000 for Glass House Graphics, Chaos Comics and Marvel Comics. He was also the cover colorist starting in 2001 for Funk-O-Tron’s Battle Pope, written by Robert Kirkman. Staples later worked for Hi-Fi Design from 2001 until 2002. Staples left Hi-Fi to publish comics under his studio MVCreations. From 2002 until 2005, his studio published Masters of the Universe, Dragon’s Lair, Space Ace, Rob Zombie’s Spook Show International, and Tales of the Realm.
Staples currently continues coloring for various Marvel Comics titles as well as titles created by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics. Staples is also currently writing a number of titles that are due to be published in 2009 at Image Comics.
